Sustainable Solutions in the Refrigeration Industry

In the refrigeration industry, sustainability is an increasingly important factor, and we at Kompressorteknik are well aware of the need to reduce our environmental impact. With a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, we strive to offer sustainable solutions and processes that minimize our environmental footprint.

The refrigeration industry is striving to become increasingly environmentally conscious and contribute to a more sustainable future. A clear example of this is the current F-Gas Regulation, the revised version of which will be introduced shortly, as well as, in many cases, the transition to natural refrigerants with a lower environmental impact. Natural refrigerants have good thermodynamic properties and low environmental and greenhouse gas impacts, making them attractive to the refrigeration industry.

To promote sustainability in refrigeration and heat pump technology, it is important to minimize the amount of refrigerant, take risks into account during design and installation, and ensure that personnel working with refrigeration and heat pumps have the right skills. By doing so, it is possible to ensure that the installations are energy-efficient and safe.

Renovation Reuse of Compressors to Reduce Environmental Impact

At Kompressorteknik, we are committed to sustainable solutions and are a highly environmentally conscious company. Our goal is for our processes to have as small an impact on the environment as possible.

A breakdown, unnecessary replacement, or a lack of service or Renovation a compressor leads to significant environmental impact and higher energy consumption. That’s why it’s better to send your compressors to us for Renovation. If you need a new compressor quickly, instead of buying a brand-new one, you can take advantage of our exchange inventory, which includes both screw and piston compressors. We have refurbished these compressors and given them a new technical lease on life. We’ve built this inventory from broken-down and unusable compressors that have come in through our trade-in system; from every three unusable compressors, we create two new ones that are put back into service.

Please feel free to contact us at Kompressorteknik if you need help or have questions about our sustainability efforts!
