We have gained worldwide recognition as specialists in high-quality refrigeration compressor overhauling. We are unique in having in-depth knowledge of all brands. We have two business areas: Kompressorteknik Industri based in Norrköping, and Kompressorteknik Marine based in Miami, USA.
It Began with STAL
Kompressorteknik, part of the former STAL, started its operations in 1999 in Norrköping. Founder Paul Lindström hired the most competent employees from STAL. This gave Kompressorteknik extensive knowledge and experience with refrigeration compressors and their components from day one. Some of these employees remain with us today, and the facilities are the same as they were then!
Since 2009, the company has been owned by Christer Öhrskog and Peter Wassberg, who also founded Comptech Engineering in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2015.
The operation in Florida focuses
on the marine sector.
Kompressorteknik Marine specializes in marine refrigeration technology with focus on service, overhauling, and installation of refrigeration units, primarily within the cruise industry. Kompressorteknik Marine is the only company with expertise in all brands in the industry and is known for its high-quality work with refrigeration compressors and marine refrigeration units.
Kompressorteknik’s entire operation is built on sustainability. With the right knowledge and equipment, a refrigeration compressor can always be overhauled to operate in its existing environment for a long time with high efficiency. Kompressorteknik knows that a healthy refrigeration compressor performs better and has less environmental impact.
